Snow Sculpture Contest - Friday February 2nd, 2024
If you would like to REGISTER a snow block please email Brooke Wegener <bwegener@kochhazard.com>

$200/Block - Individuals or teams. No limit on number of carvers/team members.
You must pre-register by Friday January 26th.
Snow blocks are 4’ x 4’ x 6’ and can be horizontal, vertical etc. Please contact us for specific requests. Teams or individuals welcome.
No power tools. Color is allowed.
A sign with your logo on it will be in front of your block

The competition is Friday, February 2nd, 2024. Carving time is anytime from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. Judging starts at 8p.m. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards are given out sometime between 9-10 p.m. in the bar area. Peoples’ Choice is handed out Saturday, February 3rd.

Funski gives away free gear to all participates. We will find you and deliver swag to your team.

The snow sculpting event always produces an amazing level of creativity. This event attracts doctors, architects, art directors, middle school kids and people who have jumped in the event on a whim. Past winners have constructed a working fire place carved completely out of snow and a complete train.

Sculptures are located just west of the chalet. Make sure you check out the sculptures and place your vote for the People’s Choice Awards – the voting box is in the chalet lobby! Additional awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place judged on the following: Originality, Difficulty & Detail. Winners will be announced after judging is complete.
